In this kick-off episode of Women On Top with Haleh Moddasser, Haleh speaks with Jane Wollman Rusoff, a tenured journalist, a ThinkAdvisor Contributing Editor, and founder of Family Star Productions. Haleh digs into Jane’s long career interviewing people—everyone from celebrities to elderly loved ones. The two explore the wide diversity of Jane's writing projects, the changes she’s witnessed in journalism—some good and others not—plus the importance of looking within yourself for a source of empowerment.

Jane Wollman Rusoff currently specializes in interviews with thought leaders. She is also the host of the ThinkAdvisor Luminaries podcast series.

Profiling business leaders and securities market pundits, Jane has captured many of the financial industry’s most dynamic personalities, for which she has received two AZBEE Awards from the American Society of Business Publication Editors.

Jane has authored five books, including How To Be Funny (McGraw-Hill), co-written with famed comedian Steve Allen, creator of The Tonight Show.

She is also the founder of Family Star Productions where she helps older generations write “legacy profiles” to be passed down within their families.
